Creative Vixstory Launches ‘I Am Not My Trauma’

An Emotive Factual Docu-Series Exploring What It Feels Like To Experience Racism In The USA and
UK...

'I Am Not My Trauma', available on YouTube: Tuesday 23rd November 2021

The ‘I Am Not My Trauma’ Factual docu-series is focused on changing the narrative on racism towards black people; changing the collective stories we tell ourselves, in order to facilitate the change, we want to see for ourselves. Using a shared interpretation of how racism works through lived experiences, ‘I Am Not My Trauma’, shines a lens on a diverse set of individuals with unique, yet parallel stories, told in both the USA and UK.

Racism is arguably a social construct with an age-long myriad of ‘issues’ that are intergenerational and nuanced; ‘I Am Not My Trauma’, aims to bring a deeper awareness to our ‘truths’ and what it feels like to experience trauma as a direct effect of racism. Moreover, inform what can be done with that knowledge and understanding, in order to create new norms that support and dismantle stereotypes, steeped in negative difference:

"We tapped into their honest truths. What or who inspired them? Most importantly, how do they get this far in life in the system that was never built with them in mind? The thing that we rarely see is what happens behind closed doors, the contributors at their most vulnerable, the hours of contemplation, the fear, joy and struggle that comes with being black. It was amazing to be a fly on the wall to get these moments of thought and the rapid excitement in moments of inspiration. A lot of people believe that being black does not come with a job of its own."

‘I Am Not My Trauma’ Spokesperson

With eight unique narratives, each film takes the viewer on a journey through compelling accounts that detail self-reflection and critical challenge. ‘I Am Not My Trauma’ depicts a no holds barred reality, with influence at its core. The authentic stories told are not in vain, they serve as a means to an end in the enduring quest to bring sustainable solutions to the fore.

Are we part of the solution or part of the problem when it comes to racism? ‘I Am Not My Trauma’ implores wider Society to start a reflective and frank conversation with self: Have my words and or actions either directly or indirectly affected black individuals? What is black trauma? What are the signs of black trauma? Have I caused and / or added to their trauma? How have I conducted myself in the past? How will I conduct myself in the future? What steps can I take as an individual to better implement strategies and processes that help and not hinder black individuals? We can all start there.

An absolute must-see, ‘I Am Not My Trauma’ brings a distinctive style and approach depicted through honest reflection, education, knowledge sharing and solution-based perspectives from the USA and UK. A collective intention that bridges the gap between international experiences, serving to illustrate, irrespective of one's birth nation, each race has a role to play in making the change towards racial equity... A small victory in the fight against racism.

STATE OF THE NATION: Okorocha speaks to BBC Hausa

WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH IPOB IN THE SOUTH EAST?

What’s happening with IPOB it is something we took like a child’s play.

Like young men’s and women who have no jobs and are acting to be recognized but now it has become something worrisome but the truth. I cannot say that there is any leader or any important person in politics that is inciting these youths.

These youth are our children and most of them are hawkers, street traders, taxi drivers. Initially we took them as agitators but we never believe it would come to this level.

WHY ARE THE LEADERS NOT CONDEMNING ALL THESE ATROCITIES?

What you must know is that these children have never fought battles before. Some of them were not born when the war took place. The truth is that there is no leader that is behind this in the whole of Igbo land. The issue of Biafra doesn’t really come up. Biafra has become an old story. We are thinking of how to build a strong Nigeria, a United Nigeria.

What is there to be divided? Is it bread or salt? No one can say let’s divide a country.

For instance; I, Rochas who has schools in the northern part of this country in Socoto, Bauchi, Zariya, Yola, Jos,kano, Bauchi

The children are up to 15,000 where will I take them to? Why would I want to divide the country.

For me I stand for Nigeria and for the unity of Nigeria!

WHY DIDN’T WE HEAR FROM THE LEADERS CONDEMNING THIS ISSUE?

The reason. Is because people are afraid when they speak out they might go and kill members of their family. That’s the major problem but the leaders are talking.

We have problem with our leaders all over the country. The careless talk they make, the children take it very serious. Leaders will say Igbos don’t like Hausa, Hausas don’t like yorubas, yorubas don’t like Igbos and so on…. these kids are hearing it & sometimes when politicians want to be voted they also tell their youth that this tribe doesn’t like that tribe so they can gain cheap popularity.

SOME OF THE LEADERS IN THE NORTH ARE BACKING THE ISSUE OF DIVISION, WHAT DO YOU SAY?

Whoever says this doesn’t love the country. Some leaders want people to clap for them when they say their backing the Hausa or Muslims so they can gain the support of their people.

Where will that take us to as a nation? Nobody’s should talk in this way if we can come together as people it will be better for us.

WHAT WILL BRING THE END TO THIS CRISIS IN THE LAND?

In the first place, you should ask what is the problem of our country

Our problem is poverty and injustice and deceit that accompanies politics… that is our problem.

If we don’t do anything concerning this. You have not started. If you buy all the war equipment in the world and fill Nigeria it will not work unless you solve the issue of hunger and injustice. These young men are full of energy and all young men are full of energy if they don’t dispose it positively they will dispose it negatively.

WHAT WILL YOU SAY ABOUT APC IN NIGERIA?

There is no problem with APC if it’s by going with the name APC but there is a problem with the people in APC. APC is just a name like any other party. You can change the name to PPC and TPC.

The problem we have now is that APC never believed they can have this kind of problem. Our major challenge now is that the issue of Boko haram which did not start today – it has been a problem that we neglected over 40 years ago; where children are not going to school and they turn around to become Boko haram members – But now we have over 13.4 million children not going to school and nothing is being done about it. In the next 20 years, if nothing is done it will become a major problem for the president

That’s why I’m saying to Nigeria. Make hay while the sun shines.

Where this is not done we might have challenges in future. Let us carry along traditional rulers in the affairs of our nation because every young man comes from a community and the traditional ruler has the capacity to dictate and identify a good or bad youth in his community.

OIL MOGUL, JACK RICH, STOLE N2.1BILLION FROM ILLEGAL SALES OF CRUDE OIL IN JUNE 2020

A criminal oil company illegally sold 137,629 barrels of Bonny Light crude in June 2020 from OML 55 through the black market, pocketed the proceeds after reporting to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, that they had no production.

Belema Oil owned by Tien Jack-Rich defrauded Nigeria of over N2.1billion in the month of June 2020 alone from the illegal sale of the Bonny light Crude which sold at N41.80 per barrel as of June 2020.

The approval limit granted BelemaOil by the NNPC is 10,000 barrels per day but in the month of June, the company told NNPC it recorded no production when its records showed that four of the oil fields that make up OML 55, indeed produced thousands of Bonny Light Crude.

Pointblanknews.com investigations reveal that Jack Rich, a notorious oil fraud who has been promised the 2023 Presidential ticket, shipped Bonny Light crude produced from his OML 55 through unmarked vessels in the coastal depot belt of the Niger Delta of Nigeria to countries in Europe.

The proceeds according to sources, are shared with Babagana Kingibe, the Sultan of Sokoto, Mohammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, Ibrahim Gambari, the Chief of Staff to President Mohammadu Buhari, and other influential members of the Cabal who have promised to ensure he gets the All Progressive Congress, APC, Presidential ticket ahead of the 2023 elections.
Jack Rich is obsessed with becoming the President of Nigeria in 2023 and has lobbied everyone close to President Mohammadu Buhari. He recently built a Mother and Child Hospital in Daura, Buhari’s own town in Katsina State, North West Nigeria.

Sources confirmed that as of the last count, Jack Rich has made over $70million in cash from illegal sales of Bonny Light Crude through the black market.

Pointblanknews.com gathered that in the event he is not paid cash at the point of delivery of the illegally sold crude, jack Rich provides account information of proxies who are paid by the buyers.

“He has been doing that for a long time since the dispute surrounding the OML55 was resolved. In the month of June alone, he told NNPC that there was no production when in actual fact OML 55 produced thousands of barrels,” a source told Pointblanknews.com

Documents from Belema Oil obtained by Pointblanknews.com shows that the Quantity of crude produced in the month of June is as follows: 5th June 2020, 5,571 barrels net, 7th June 2020, 5,767 barrels net, 9,189 barrels net 8th June 2020, 9th June 2020 9,745 barrels net, 10th June 2020, 9,946 barrels net, 11th June 2020, 9,862 barrels net.

Other are 12th June 2020 9,970 barrels net, 13th June 2020 9,745 barrels net, 14thJune 2020 6,192 barrels net, 15th June 2020 6,691 barrels net   16th June 2020   5,914 barrels net, 17th June 2020, 6,030 barrels net, 18th June 2020 5,934 barrels net, 19th June 2020, 9,948 barrels net.

And 20th June 2020, 8,184 barrels net, 21st June 2020 9,490 barrels net, 22nd June 2020, 22nd June 2020, 9,471 barrels net, totaling 137,629 barrels of bonny light crude oil stolen only in June, sources in knowledgeable with his schemes told Pointblanknews.com that he does that every month.

OML 55 current producing Fields are Robertkiri, Idama, Jokka, Inda, and Belema North. It has an estimated hydrocarbon reserve of circa 350 mmboe. It was previously operated by NNPC/Chevron Joint Venture (JV) but handed over to Belemaoil Producing Limited, in a joint partnership with NNPC in February 2015.

OML 55 is about 40km west of Bonney Terminal and located in the mangrove swamp to shallow water offshore in the south-eastern part of the Niger Delta and covers an area of 852km² approximately.

Pointblanknews.com is in possession of financial records of Jack Rich and Belemaoil and would release details of findings, how funds were being laundered, and the details of vessels used for the illegal sales of crudes in coming days.

African Politicians are Not Leaders, but Just Dealers – Nigeria’s Godspower Oshodin speaking from Kenya

As the political leadership crisis and underdevelopment in Africa increases as a new dawn crawls her face into reality, without the hope of a better tomorrow in Africa as a result of what African politicians are doing to their various countries through immeasurable socioeconomic and sociopolitical corruptions, some well meaning Africans are busy trying to figure out how wealthy Africa can reach its promise land towards overtaking the so called world powers.

Godspower Oshodin in Nairobi with the Ambassador representing Kenya and South Sudan at the United Nations, Amb. Chol M.U Ajongo, alongside Kenya’s Activist Prof. PLO Lumumba, and Nigeria’s Comrade Timi Frank, to brainstorm on how Africa can attain adulthood as she still suffers from malnourished embryo.

Godspower Oshodin and the Ambassador representing Kenya and South Sudan at the United Nations, Amb. Chol M.U Ajongo
Comrade Timi Frank and the Ambassador representing Kenya and South Sudan at the United Nations, Amb. Chol M.U Ajongo
Godspower Oshodin and Prof PLO Lumumba

They decided to talk about something that will never die, which is AFRICA….

Godspower Oshodin From Nairobi, Kenya

And if we must talk about Africa, we must talk about it with that cautious overview that – if we do not take charge immediately, our so called ‘political’ leaders will sell out the World’s richest Continent (Africa) to the Western World, through their various Loans/Aides ruse.

“We must begin to liberate ourselves from this force belief that the African Politicians are the Leaders. They’re not leaders, but just dealers!

“The Western world has created some International monetary Organisations to process and continue steal from Africa. The same money these Organisations give to Africa belongs to Africa. These organisations are created to tame Africa, they’re not there to save Africa.

“They understand that the average African politician is only interested in immediate gratification. They’re not interested in protecting Africa’s interest.

“And just watch after the COVID-19 might have relapse, they’ll invite our Africa Leaders to China for some contrived Africa/China merger whatever, and they will all get dressed and run to China. And the only time they contribute in such deceptive Assembly, is during photo sessions. They’ll all stand in front of the camera, so they can be properly framed.

“China is beginning to hijack the Sovereignty of various Africa Nations through these unending paper-loans our Political Leaders are collecting and sharing amongst themselves. And ofcourse, we all know the clause attached to these loans if you default.

“It is still better they give us the ugly truth, than a pretty little lie. The African Politicians are gradually montgaging the the future of Africa. An average African child is born into debt. So where is our Africa that possesses all the natural resources on earth, the most fertile land and friendly weather. Why are all of these bountiful resources not reflecting in the people?

“We need to take charge now! As for these Political Leaders, they’re not interested in our future, so we have to take advantage of the Africa youthful population, which is the biggest Young population in the world. We all need to stand up to the original reality that Africa belongs to all of us!”
