Under the headline Obama Divorce Bombshell!, the National Enquirer claims their 21-year marriage has dissolved in a string of ugly fights that were prompted by the Mandela memorial incident and — far more outrageously — Mrs Obama’s discovery that Secret Service bodyguards had been covering up infidelity on her husband’s part.
It’s an allegation the White House has declined to comment on, though after Bill Clinton’s trouser-dropping scandals, Americans would be rather less sanguine about any extra-marital activity than the French appear to be over President Francois Hollande’s behaviour.
Mrs Obama, the Enquirer claims, intends to stand by her husband until his presidency is over, at which time he will move back to Hawaii, where he grew up, and she will stay in Washington with their children. Continue...

For the moment, they are allegedly sleeping in separate bedrooms after Mr Obama’s attempt to ‘mend fences’ backfired so badly on a recent Christmas getaway to Hawaii that he returned to Washington with their two daughters, leaving his wife behind.

Obama advisers are certainly not talking as if there is any scandal in the offing.

Washington’s media has ignored the story.
 But everyone remembers how the Enquirer famously got it right when it claimed the supposedly squeaky clean Democrat presidential contender John Edwards had fathered a love child by a former campaign worker.

Thin as its story may seem at the moment, might it be on to something again?

Atleast it was right on one point — Mrs Obama did remain in Hawaii. The White House quickly offered an explanation, saying the extended stay had been a birthday present from her husband.
‘If you have kids, you know that telling your spouse they can spend a week away from home is actually a big present,’ said his spokesman.

Before returning home on Wednesday, Mrs Obama holed up for more than a week at TV star Oprah Winfrey’s spectacular 12-bedroom house on a mountainside estate on Maui, the second largest of the Hawaiian islands.

Their girls-only get-together was joined by Oprah’s close friend, the TV presenter Gayle King, White House aide Valerie Jarrett and Sharon Malone, wife of the U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.

Oprah has described the estate as a place where she and guests sit on the porch sipping guava cocktails, and ride horses to the top of the mountain to watch the sun go down.

Why would anyone rush back to chilly Washington from such an idyll?

Two teenagers (girls) lured their friend to a house, beat her up and held her down to be raped while someone filmed the whole thing on a cell phone. UK Daily Mail reports
A 16-year-old girl was allegedly beaten by other girls before being held down to be raped in a horrifying attack that was filmed on a cellphone, it was revealed today.
Patricia Montes, 15 (pictured above right), and 16-year-old Erica Avery (pictured left) are accused of punching, kicking and pepper-spraying the girl before holding her down to be raped by Jayvon Woolfork, 19, police said.
The barbaric attack was filmed on a cell phone by Lanel Singleton, 18, and shows the girl writhing half naked and weeping in the yard of a home in Hollywood, Florida while her attackers leer over her.

Along with a 17-year-old Dwight Henry, the alleged rape gang have all been charged in the attack on November 1 last year.

The sickening clips, shown by CBS Miami for the 1st time today, shows the girls viciously beating the girl while the men watch.

One male voice can be heard saying: 'They don't like this girl.'
One girl responds: 'I told you we were gonna f*** somebody up'.
As the victim begs to be freed, another girl says they should 'let this girl go home' but the attack continues.

Inside the home, the alleged attackers dragged the victim into a room and pinned her down while Woolfork assaulted her.

The victim is later allowed to leave but not before one of her female attackers spits on her. She managed to flag down a car and make it to her home where she fell unconscious and was taken to hospital. She spent several days in hospital with broken bones in her face, swelling and being unable to see.

The victim told police that she was attacked after smoking marijuana and drinking beer with people she believed to be her friends, including one girl who had been her best friend since kindergarten.
Patricia Montes, 15, and Erica Avery, 16, are charged with two counts each of felony armed sexual assault and kidnapping. Both have been charged as adults.

 

Henry, 17, of Hollywood; Lanel Singleton, 18, of North Miami (both pictured above); and Woolfork, 19, all face charges of capital felony sexual assault and kidnapping.

All have pleaded not guilty and are being held on bond with the exception of Montes.
Singleton, who is believed to have recorded the clips, was expected to appear in court today.
At a bail hearing in November, prosecutor Maria Schneider described the video of the crime, detailing how the victim pleaded with the alleged attackers to stop as she held her arms over her face to protect herself from their unrelenting blows.

‘The cruelty shown on this video . . . this was repeated over and over again . . . The girls are trying to remove her bra. You saw the victim sitting on the toilet crying, her face blown up and swollen from injuries, and then they beat her,’ Ms Schneider said.

During parts of the 3 -hour bail hearing, Avery grinned and rolled her eyes and had to be admonished by her lawyer to remain composed. Montes, who was the victim’s best friend, appeared stoic for most of the proceeding.

The victim claims that she was kicked, thrown down stairs and had her face smashed on concrete, breaking bones near both her eyes.
The judge said: 'This 16-year-old woman, both of her eyes were closed from being beaten, she had blood coming from one of her ears.'

The videos, consisting of 11 snippets, show the victim being beaten, but they do not depict sexual activity

Twitch, Sony's live streaming partner for the PS4, has banned a handful of users for streaming inappropriate content. Among the offenders is a couple who exposed themselves while streaming a play session of the built-in PS4 game The Playroom.

Another banned user got the boot not for showing body parts, but for hosting an impromptu call-in show to auction off their PS3. Among the callers? Adam Boyes, head of publisher relations for Sony.

Members of the NeoGaf forum report having seen others PS4 users brandish guns and perform sex acts during live streams.

And that’s not okay with Twitch.

"Twitch has a very strict terms of service policy," the service told Kotaku in a statement. "We are very vigilant about removing content that breaks the TOS guidelines and depending on the severity of the violation we will either ban or suspend accounts. In addition to our own efforts, the Twitch community is unique in that it likes to flag content they suspect or know is a breach of our TOS. Like any social network from YouTube to Facebook, there will always be a very small minority of users who attempt to circumvent the rules."

The Xbox One doesn't yet stream live video, but some users who have uploaded game clips have found themselves facing temporary bans due to the amount of profanity that appears in those videos.
"Excessive profanity and other Code of Conduct violations will be enforced upon. On Xbox One, we have a more sophisticated system of enforcement," a Microsoft spokesperson told CNET. "As a result, if someone misbehaves on the service, we may only suspend some of their privileges on Xbox Live such as access to certain apps or use of certain features." After Britney Spears introduced her as "my girl Miley Cyrus," the 20-year-old singer stepped out on stage for her second iHeartRadio Music Festival performance Saturday night, wearing pasties over her nipples and panties underneath a white mesh coverup that left little to the imagination.
Singing into a faux banana microphone, Cyrus slapped a little person's butt, stuck out her tongue and grabbed herself while she performed.
A source tells E! News the decision to wear the mesh dress was a very last minute one. Her stylist, Haley Wollens, put it together for her and Miley decided to go for it.

30 colorful suitcases containing an amazing 1.3 tons of pure cocaine was found on an Air France flight on Wednesday September 11th. According to reports, the suitcases which weren't registered to any of the passengers on the plane, was discovered by French immigration officials on arrival of the flight from Venezuela. The suitcases which came from Caracas, were found on Sept. 11, but French authorities didn't publicize the find until this past weekend.

The estimated value of the narcotic was put at $270 million.

Yesterday, Venezuela's Public Ministry said that authorities have detained several people including 3  members of the National Guard in connection with the incident. A detailed investigation is currently going on. Learn more »

Kenyan special forces were today locked in a fight to the death with Islamic terrorists who have been barricaded inside a Nairobi mall with up to 40 hostages since Saturday.
Witnesses described hearing four large explosions at the Westgate Shopping Centre followed by fierce gun fire after the military tried to break the three day siege by gaining access from the roof. 
It is feared that some of the gunmen inside may have blown themselves up, though a Kenyan government minister said that militants had set fire to some mattresses in a supermarket as a decoy.
Update: It's been confirmed that the terrorists didn't blow themselves up, they set ablaze mattresses they got from one of the supermarkets in the mall, as a diversion. The terrorists have been corned in one of the rooms inside the mall. Continue

John Mikel Obi is delighted at scoring his first Premier League goal for Chelsea in their 2-0 win over Fulham on Saturday.

The 26-year-old preferred to take a collective approach by emphasizing on the team’s ability to get back to winning ways after a poor run of defeats in their last three games.

“We had lost two games in a row and the most important thing to do today was to win, we got the three points and my goal was just a bonus,” Mikel said.

Mikel however admitted his delight at scoring his first league goal after 185 games, disclosing that his teammates had already started teasing him about it.

“I am pretty happy, it has been a long time,” Mikel admitted.

“The guys have been killing me about it. It is good to get my first goal in the Premier League, I have scored in the FA Cup a couple of times.”

NIGERIAN midfielder, Mikel Obi, scored his first ever English Premier League goal on Saturday as Chelsea defeated Fulham 2-0 at Stamford Bridge.

Mikel’s first goal came after 185 EPL appearances for Chelsea since he joined the Blues in 2006 from Lyn Oslo.

Brazilian Oscar put the home side ahead in the 52nd minute but it was Mikel, who put the game beyond the hard fighting visitors with a superb finish with six minutes to regulation time, to the admiration of club owner, Roman Abramovich.

The Nigeria international seems to have realised his attacking instinct as he had scored another classical goal in the 2013 Confederations Cup against Uruguay.

“I am very happy for my goal; it’s been a long time. I also did (score) for the national team. It’s something I always want to do but I have to put myself in the right position,” Mikel said after the match.

Another Nigerian, Sone Aluko fired a spectacular late winner for Hull City as the Tigers twice came back from behind to beat Newcastle 3-2 at St James’ Park.

Loic Remy opened the scoring from close-range in the 10th minute before Robbie Brady drove the equaliser under Tim Krul just before the half-hour.

Remy put the Magpies back in front just before the break but Ahmed Elmohamady headed an equaliser three minutes into the second half, and Aluko won it for the visitors with a superb side-footed volley from the edge of the box in the 76th minute.

Aston Villa survived conceding an early penalty and a first-half injury to their talismanic goalscorer Christian Benteke to give Paul Lambert a 1-0 win at former club Norwich.

Robert Snodgrass saw his sixth-minute spot-kick saved before the visitors lost Benteke to injury, with his replacement Libor Kosak scoring the only goal for Villa.

At Anfield, Dejan Lovren’s second-half header snatched a shock 1-0 win for Southampton at Anfield and consigned Liverpool to their first Premier League defeat of the season.
