End-Mark the insurgence! Ahoada people in Rivers State cry out!

The good people of Ahoada East and West local government areas of Rivers State cry out for peace, sequence to the killings, kidnapping, shooting, macheting of young people, the aged, children, destruction of properties and burning of houses that have left many homeless and jobless in both local government areas.

The Eze Ekpeye Logbo and the chairmen of both LGAs., on the 30th of January, inaugurated the Peace, Security and Reconciliation committee headed by Rt. Rev. N. Clement EkpeyeJP, A ( Bishop) as the chairman and our own dear Cultural Ambassador, Chief (Mrs ) Gift Eke (Muma Gee ) as the Chairman sub Committee(fund raising) to look into the matter.

The committee urge the youths who are the future leaders to abstain themselves from unlawful activities that would lead to further insurgency in the local government areas and call on their illustrious sons and daughters, opinion leaders, stakeholders, MDs of companies hosted by d both LGAs, business men and women, and the general public to this special event tagged ” END- MARK THE INSURGENCE KICKOFF”, slated to hold on the 5th of march 2016 at Hotel Tropicana, Ahoada by 11am prompt , to strategize and  synergy on how to bring this horrifying situation to a full stop, as peace must return to Ahoada East and West local Government Areas as soon as possible.
