“There Is Need To Engage More Youths Like Tijani Nwadei In Governance” – Godspower Oshodin


Top Media Entrepreneur and President of the Nigeria Bloggers Forum, Godspower Oshodin has commended the efforts of some Nigerian Governors and other Government officials who engage more Youths in their cabinet.
He stated that, the country will hit it index growth, if youth-based ideas and empowerment programmes are driven accordingly.
“I will like to commend the Governors who are engaging more Youths in their Cabinet. The essence of ‘Youths in Governance’ is to bridge the gap of sustainable excellence, and create an environment where they can explore their many potentials, knowing fully well they’re the driving force of every society.
There are quite a number of smart Nigerian youths who are significantly doing well home and abroad. A Switzerland Journalist friend of mine once told me that ‘Nigerians are the best content providers on earth’. That was really inspiring, as there are a couple of amazing persons presently serving at various capacity in Government.”
The multiple award winning writer, poet, and founder of ‘Naija Gist and Gossips Newpaper’ further commends the effort of Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki for appointing an under 40 as Chief of Staff; and also involving other Youth such as Tijani Nwadei in his Cabinet.
“I once met my State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki at the World Trade Centre in Dubai last year, and I told him how impressed i had been that he’s a Youth-driven person. And now he has appointed an under 40 as Chief of Staff.
He also has this amazing young man Tijani Nwadei in his team. In 2015 TJ led the strategy team of Mr. Godwin Obaseki Campaign.
At his early 30s he already possesses this awe-inspiring organisational and strategy skills. At the moment he is Technical Adviser to the Edo State Government under Mr. Godwin Obaseki.
You cannot leave a guy like TJ behind behind, he is armed with expertise in developing sustainable solutions for the peculiar challenges in African market. Hence his vast knowledge  in Manufacturing, Energy and Agriculture sectors.
So there is need to engage more Youths like Tijani Nwadei in Governance”, Godspower Oshodin concludes.
